About this experience
A full day walking the town most visitors never see. We start early at the central market — fruit you've never heard of, mole pastes ground on stone, the smell of fresh tortillas from the comal. Then coffee with a roaster who sources from the sierra, a mezcal shop where the owner knows every palenquero by name, and craft workshops where artisans work in clay and wood the way their families have for generations.
This isn't a highlight reel. It's a slow, unhurried reading of a town through the things it makes and the people who make them.
